Cantemus Children's Choir

Of the Zoltán Kodály Primary School choirs Cantemus is the largest  and has won the most prizes.

The choir has successfully competed and given concerts in many countries around the world including Australia, Canada, countries within Europe, Korea, Japan and the United States of America.
The choir has also been privileged to premier many new pieces especially composed for it by leading Hungarian composers.

The voice of the choir is preserved through radio, television and CD recordings  - including ten CDs recorded with Pro Musica -  the older girls' choir – which was  formed from ex Cantemus members and  has also competed and travelled extensively abroad with great success.

Further in addition to the recognition of their success and achievement they were awarded the the prize of the Foundation for Hungarian Arts in 1989 and the Bartók Béla - Pásztory Ditta Prize in 1993.
